David Alan Findley, age 73, of Morrisville, PA passed away suddenly at Jefferson Bucks Hospital on May 20, 2023.
Born in 1950, Mr. Findley was raised in Chester County, Pennsylvania and lived in various places before moving to Morrisville in 1990 to start his family. David graduated from Salisbury State University in Maryland with a bachelor’s of science degree. He was employed by the company ServiceMaster as the Director of Environmental Services.
In his younger years, David played tennis, softball and studied French. He was a counselor at the Variety Club Camp, where he had previously attended as a camper. Mr. Findley was a history buff, he loved to read and listen to classic rock, and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed traveling to Ireland and England, to visit cousins, as well as road trips to New England and Canada and cruising the Caribbean. He supported his local teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies but most of all, he loved being with his family.
Son of the late George and Mary (Fleming) Findley; brother of the late Michael Findley. David is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Donna (Timmons) Findley of Morrisville, PA; his beloved daughter, Lauren Findley of Morrisville, PA; siblings, Patricia (Joe) Ciarlone of Rochester Hills, MI, and Wayne Findley of Downingtown, PA; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mr. Findley’s funeral mass at 10:30 AM on May 31, 2023 at the St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Rd., Morrisville, PA 19067.
Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 AM on the morning of May 31, 2023 at the church. His interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
