Robert J. Stitt, 86, of Bensalem, died peacefully surrounded by his children on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.
Robert was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School and a member of its alumni association. He was a graduate of LaSalle University, a US Army veteran, and a former French teacher in the Philadelphia School District.
Beloved husband of 35 years to the late Barbara (DeNota), Mr. Stitt is the loving father of Allegra Hedges (Dave) and Anthony L. Stitt (Jenny).
He is the devoted grandfather “Bob” of Ava, Justin and Natalia and dear brother of Dorothy Luecke.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 10:00 am at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville. The Rite of Committal will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne. There will be no calling hours.
