Constance Giallella

Constance Ann (nee Swoyer) Giallella, 77, of Yardley, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022, with family by her side. Connie was born and raised in the Bristol/Levittown area. She met her husband and best friend Robert (Bob) Giallella at Bishop Egan High School and started dating him while they attended Rider College, which blossomed into a 52-year marriage. After college, she worked as a rehabilitation counselor for the State of New Jersey before moving to Yardley to start their family. She became a full-time stay-at-home mom raising her boys and driving them to all their events. She actively volunteered with PTO, school activities, and youth clubs. She returned to full-time work as an early intervention coordinator with Penndel Mental Health Center before enjoying many years of retirement. There was nothing Connie enjoyed more than spending time with her family and friends, especially making memories with her four grandchildren. She loved bowling, baking, playing in her mahjong and canasta groups, watching Star Wars with her sons, reading, dancing, summers at the shore, and traveling the world. She liked to cook; made the best desserts in the world, and her grandkids especially loved Nana’s meatballs. Connie was preceded in death by her parents Astor Wayne Swoyer and Helen Dugan Swoyer; stepmother, Constance Smith Swoyer. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Bob; two sons, Patrick Giallella (wife Lauren) and Todd Giallella (wife Christy); brother Wayne Swoyer; four grandchildren Alexandra, Mia, Isaac, and Abigail; one puppy, Parker, and countless relatives and dear friends. Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 9:30 – 10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA.
