Joseph Sabol

 

Joseph W. Sabol passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Buckingham Valley Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 94 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Hazleton, PA, Mr. Sabol was a resident of Morrisville for over 55 years and was a founding member of Saint John the Evangelist Church. He was a devoted Catholic with a strong faith and beliefs.

Joe was a US Navy veteran and served his country proudly during World War II. He was a very loving husband (late Martha), father, and grandfather. Joe was a very dedicated worker and family man. He was very friendly and outgoing and possessed a great sense of humor. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Beloved husband of 65 years to the late Martha, Mr. Sabol was the loving father of Marilyn Webster (late Roger), Eileen Cipa, Jean Sabol, William J. Sabol (Carolyn), and Michelle Rovny (David).

He was the devoted grandfather of Craig Cipa (Jessie), Cristen Owen (Doug), Brett and Kyle Rovny; dear brother of Dorothy Heitmann; and brother-in-law of Irene Prickitt.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 9 AM until 10:30 AM at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Rd, Morrisville, PA 19067. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. The rite of committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions in Mr. Sabol’s name be made to Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church or to the VA Medical Center at CMCVAMC OR mail directly to Attention: Center for Development & Civic Engagement, Corp.
