Kyle N. Valdez of Falls Township, Pa., passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. He was 18. Born in Trenton, N.J., he was a lifelong Falls Township resident. Kyle was a senior and honor student at Pennsbury High School, and recipient of the Presidential Award, and was accepted into Drexel University, Philadelphia, in the Bio Medical Engineering Program. He was a Black Belt in Karate, loved snowboarding, composing music, car enthusiast, and was a certified PADI scuba diver.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Reina Valdez; he is survived by his parents, Douglas N. and Stacie M. Phillips Valdez; brother, Anthony A. Valdez; paternal grandfather, Nicolas R. Valdez; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Karen Phillips; aunts and uncles, Shane and Jill Phillips, Marvin and Dhalia Valdez, Nanci and Froilan DeLeon, Briceida Valdez and her companion, Kenneth Colon, Lisbi and Roberto Costanzo, Jenny Valdez; and many cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon on Friday, April 20, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Rd., Morrisville, PA 19067. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne. Calling hours for family and friends will be from 9 a.m. until time of Mass on Friday, at St. John the Evangelist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Rd., Yardley, PA 19067.
