Claire Theresa Sullivan Boersig, born in Philadelphia on August 9, 1951, died peacefully at home on January 9, 2024, at the age of 72. She was a resident of Morrisville, PA, for the past 44 years. Claire was a graduate of Saint Timothy’s grade school and Saint Hubert high school. From the ATF to the Italian restaurant down the street, she enjoyed her work and relationships with clients and colleagues, most of all as a devoted realtor for the past 40 years, starting at Allen Realty and more recently with Berkshire Hathaway. Claire loved spending time with her many friends and social groups and was a member of the Eta Nu sorority. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, games, cooking and entertaining, dancing and was joyful doing all of them. She was fond of cruises with her husband, hosting large family gatherings, or enjoying intimate conversations with the people she loved most. Most of all Claire was devoted to her family. She was the beloved wife of 52 years to Charles J Boersig, mother of Charles Stephen (Julie Cerrato), James William (Marilyn Brown), and Laura Theresa (Brian Castner). Blessed with grandchildren, Claire was the loving grandmother of Colin, Caitlin, Faith, and Connor. Proceeded in passing by her parents James Sullivan and Kathryn McKeever, Sisters, Mary McGerry and Joan Rietzen, and brother James Sullivan, Claire will sadly be missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. The funeral mass to honor Claire’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 10:30am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA 19067. Visitation for family and friends will be celebrated on Saturday January 20, 2024, from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the church. Internment of ashes will take place following the mass at the All Saints Cemetery located at 291 Durham Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
