Joseph John Loncosky Jr, 89, passed away on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, in his home due to  natural causes. His wife, Mary Alice (Wyers), preceded him in death on June 19th, 2023 after  celebrating 68 years of marriage.  Joseph was born on November 4th, 1935 in Mowry, PA to Joseph John and Edna (Karycki)  Loncosky, Sr.

John, as many called him, attended Ashland High School. After graduation he travelled down  to his Aunt Annie’s (Wiaczek) house in New Jersey to look for a job. While at his aunt’s house, he  met the love of his life, Mary Alice. They were married on June 18th, 1955.

They resided in Trenton NJ until 1956 when they moved to Bristol PA. In 1959, they then  moved to Morrisville, PA, where they raised seven children. They belonged to Holy Trinity Catholic  Church in Morrisville, PA and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Yardley, PA, where they  have been parishioners for the past 67 years. Their family is one of the original members of St.  John’s Parish. John had served as an Usher at St. John’s for many years.

Joseph ran his own automotive business called Johnny’s 66. He had also worked at Strescon,  Square D, U.S. Steel and Circuit Foil in New Jersey until he retired.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Joseph John and Edna (Karycki) Loncosky, Sr., his  brothers Edward, Thomas, Jerome and Chester; and his sisters, Rita Hoover, Lucy Brasher and  Josephine Lesko.

Joseph is survived by their seven children – Mary and James Love, Kathleen and John  Kozlowski, Johanna and Ron Kraemer, Joseph John and Susan Loncosky III, Sharon Jeschonek,  Paula and Bob White, and Jeffrey Loncosky. Together, their seven children presented them with a  total of 23 grandchildren. Their grandchildren, in turn, presented them with 28 great-grandchildren.  One great-grandchild presented them with a great-great-grandson, with whom Joseph shared a  special bond. He is also survived by several generations of nieces and nephews.

Joseph’s family would like to thank the amazing hospice team who had been there for both Mom and Dad to help them through their journey. Your team was amazing! We couldn’t have done  this over the past few years without all of you, and the love and support you all showed us. Pam, Dad  was truly happy when he saw that you were part of his team, just like you were for Mom. Joseph’s  family would also like to thank the members of Jefferson Bucks, Pennsbury Medical Practice, Summit  Urology, and all of his medical teams who have worked so hard in Dad’s treatment and recovery over  the past few years. Thank you.

Relatives and friends please join us to celebrate John’s joyous life at St. John the Evangelist  Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA 19067 on Monday, April 14th, 2025 from 9:30 AM  – 10:30 AM.
