James F. Driscoll, of Yardley, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on January 27, 2025. He was 90 years old. James (Jim) was born on February 4, 1934, to James and Flora Driscoll in Staten Island, NY. After graduating from Roman Catholic High School, he went on to earn a degree in business at St. Joseph’s University. Jim proudly served in the U.S. Air Force before beginning a distinguished career with the Federal Government. He retired as the Director of the Defense Department for the New York Region after 28 years.
Jim was known for his strong work ethic, his love for his family and his contagious laugh. He was a kind, friendly man who enjoyed spending afternoons on his porch chatting with neighbors. Jim loved telling stories of his days in the Air Force and working closely with Generals. Above all, he cherished the moments spent with his three grandchildren, Olivia, Josie and Isla, who adored their Pop Pop.
Jim will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Josephine, his daughter Patricia and her husband Michael, as well as many close family and friends. He is also survived by his children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on February 11, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist Church (752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA 19067) at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am. Interment will immediately follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 1pm.
