Patricia (Pat) Ann Dansbury, J.D., 67, of Yardley, PA died on Saturday October 7, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Abner Martin Dansbury, Jr. and the late Claire Fitzpatrick Dansbury. Pat was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, Class of 1974, and Shippensburg University. She began her career in our nation’s capital as a journalist and later earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law School in 1987. For the last 14 years, Pat was the Deputy General Counsel at Integra LifeSciences Corporation in Plainsboro, NJ, where the writing and communication skills she developed prior to law school were extremely useful as a successful corporate attorney. She lived her life with a great sense of style. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, frequent family activities, golf at Yardley Country Club and family vacations on Long Beach Island. Two of her favorite pastimes were relaxing with a good book and travelling the world to see new places. Pat is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Abner Martin Dansbury, III and Lynn Apple of Newtown, PA, and Paul L. Dansbury of Langhorne, PA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Susan Malone and J. Robert Malone and Mary Claire Dansbury, all of Yardley, PA; five nieces and nephews, Robert (and Erin) Malone, Jeffrey Malone, Kaitlin Malone, Willow Dansbury, and Kylie Howe; her best canine companions, Benjie and Finn, many cousins, and good friends. She was also the sister of the late Margaret Howe, Ph.D. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Friday October 13, 2023, at the St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA, where friends may call from 9:30am until 10:45am. A reception will follow at the Yardley Country Club. Arrangements are under the care of the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue, Yardley, PA 19067.
