Annina Anoia (nee: Vivaldo) of Yardley, PA passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Isca Sul’ Ionio Italy, she immigrated to Shamokin, PA in 1939. She was a loving wife for 49 years to the late Samuel Anoia and devoted mother to her children. She worked for 18 years as a cook for the Pennsbury School District until her retirement in 1985. Annina was a woman of deep faith. She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Elizabeth Vivaldo, her siblings Floyd Vivaldo (Eleanor), Anthony Vivaldo, Maria Grazia Vivaldo and nieces Kathleen and Elizabeth Vivaldo. Annina will be greatly missed by her children Dante Anoia and his wife Lori, Raffelino Anoia, Crelia Anoia, her niece Flora Vivaldo DeYoung and her husband Charles and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Italy.
Family and friends are invited to gather Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 6 – 8 pm and Monday morning from 8:30 – 9:30 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 am St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Rd #4728, Morrisville, PA 19067. Interment will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Trenton, NJ 08610
