John M. Healy
John M. Healy of Jamison, PA died on Sunday December 5, 2021, at The Bridges at Warwick. He was 89.
John was born in Ballybunion, County Kerry, Ireland and came to America in 1950. He served in the Artillery Corps of the US Army in the Korean War. Upon his discharge, he joined the NYC Police Department and retired as a Deputy Inspector. He and his late wife, Maureen, lived in East Northport NY and Sarasota, FL, moving to Bucks County four years ago.
John was the son of the late Patrick and Margaret Moriarty Healy and husband of the late Maureen Healy, brother of the late Dennis, Patrick, Jerry, andDan, and his brother-in-law and his wife, Denis and Linda O’Shea.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Noreen and Bob Wolt of Bath, PA, and Rita Healy of New York, NY; his son, John M. Healy, Jr. and his wife, Mary of Fallsington, PA; two brothers, Timothyand Brendan Healy, both of Westchester, NY; two sisters, Maureen White of Melbourne, Australia, and Bridie McNamara of Ballybunion, Ireland, and three grandchildren, Sean and his wife, Raquel, Stephen and Ryan Healy.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Saturday at the St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA. Calling hours will be from 4pm to 8pm Friday at the FitzGerald-SommerFuneral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA.
