James “Jim” Jones of Yardley, Pa, passed away on Monday, May, 26, 2025, at St Mary’s Medical Center with family by his side.
Born March 17, 1932, in Hatfield, PA, he was the son of the late Phoebe Price Felice and John Ira Jones.
He was the beloved husband of Mabel Conard Jones, and beloved brother of Betty Luff who both preceded him in death. Jim later found his second love, Joyce Inderbitzin, whom he married in 2003. He and Joyce loved spending time with their family, friends and travelling. He was very handy and enjoyed fixing things.
Jim is survived by his wife Joyce Inderbitzin, his daughters Cynthia Somaine, Lynda Gleason, Karen Inderbitzin, Lynne Hoffman, Janice Robert and their husbands; his brother David, many nieces and nephews, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 10:30am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA 19067. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery, River Road, Yardley, PA 19067. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or the American Lung Association (www.lung.org).
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
