St. John the Evangelist is committed to the development of
our parish youth through the healthy partnership of parents,
students, coaches, and teachers. Individuals are encouraged
to pursue excellence while maintaining good sportsmanship.
Players, parents, and coaches are asked to acknowledge that
participation in CYO Athletics is a privilege and offensive
behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Therefore, each player, parent and coach is expected to
follow the St. John the Evangelist CYO Code of Conduct.
ENFORCEMENT
The parish and leagues, under the supervision of the
Archdiocese of Philadelphia, shall enforce this code.
Complaints regarding violations
of the code shall first be brought to the attention of St.
John the Evangelist's CYO Athletic Board. The Board and
Pastor will take whatever
action deemed appropriate against player, parent or coach up
to and including suspension from CYO activities for their
actions.
